Replacing the 8" subs?

Isn't the enclosure IB? there's a big hole on one side venting to the outside of the car. It's not ported either. I'd guess it's IB - that would be easier for them in such a small space given the special ability to vent to the outside.

If earth quake designed it for the BMW, they didn't do a very good job. The woofer is about 1/4" too deep, and it barely plays past 100Hz, which is far, far from ideal in the BMW setup.
