led halos?

hi everyone, quick questions. where would one find these? are they difficult to install in your own experience? and are colored ones legal? i've seen some pretty odd colors out there and just don't want to get any fix it tickets.

thanks in advanced. also if you have any cool pictures of your installs can you please post?

come on y'all, let's not kill a newbie.

Halos - yes, LUX V3 is most expensive but consensus is they are the best. They run ~$250-300 I think.

Install can be perfectly handled as a DIY, search for DIY thread on it, or just go to LUX website, they have instructions there. The main struggle is jamming your hand into the space where you need to get the bulb...the LED housing thing is bigger than the stock bulb which is why it's harder to get in place...but it's all possible and just needs a bit of patience...install took me ~40mins total for both sides.

Honestly I found all of the direct replacement Angel Eyes (LUX, AIB, etc.) to be lacking. They are not close to the oem BMW ones on the newer cars. The only way to achieve this is to go with a little custom work like OSS. I have mine and they look amazing. Search around for them - the DIY on them would be a little difficult as you need to open up the headlights. You can always send your lights out, hit up AutoCouture in Fair Lawn, NJ - did a great job on mine.

I have AiB. I'm as happy as someone who didn't have to hack into his headlights can be.
