Brembo uses a smaller rear rotor for the GT. The GTS has a slightly bigger rotor at the rear axle than at the front. That's why I was wondering what is it good for.

The GTS has 378 front, 380 rear, which is basically the same (just Germans being Germans ) 2 mm is quite negligible IMO.

That's true. They also made their own rotors and didn't use those from Brembo.

+1 I'm also interested to hear opinions about whether installing duct kit is
worth the investment if upgrading to BBK

With the stock system I was going through a set of OEM pads in 3 to 4 20min sessions before the pads turned to dust. After upgrading to the BBK I was able to go 5 sessions before getting the stoptech performance pads to start to fade. Just moving to the BBK and the supplied pads made a huge improvement over the stock kit and stock pads. Running Hawk DTC pads with the BBK I have not experienced any fade yet and I have not installed air cooling ducts. Only thing missing is I did not try race pads with the stock set up to see if that would need cooling also.

StopTech ST60/ST40 setup with Pagid RS29 pads. No ducting. Doing well so far. Getting about 5-6 track days out of the front pads, and about double that from the rears.
