I don't think he'll be coming unfortunately, Unless he hasn't received PMs!
I like the eisenmann race. I'm going to get fabspeed xpipe with hfcs probably in the summer. Waiting a little bit longer on the CEL issue..

Suprane has an eisenmann sport. I'm not sure about the others! What were you looking for in an exhaust? we can all throw in our $0.02!

Nawaaz- Shady1 traded in his remus race for a gintani race

I was thinking Eisenmann or Remus. I think they sound alot alike. Remus seems to be a good bang for the buck. I was listening to AA today and it sounded good too.

All this is based on online videos tho. I am looking forward to hearing anything in person.

I dont want over the top loud like Nawaaz but I dont want to spend money on exhaust for a tiny change either. And if my V8 sounds like a ricer I will burn down the manufacturers headquarters.

My eisenmann race is pretty loud, but nowhere near the sound of full GINTANI catless exhaust. Also member ssh229, Andrew, has the meisterschraft gt2 (sp?) I've heard it's very loud, but I've yet to hear it in person.

How much $$ are you willing to spend ? That's also a factor that can help narrow it down to a few exhausts. Also, are you willing to cut your pipes up or do you prefer connecting pipes?

I'm undecided on setting a $ amount now bc I would be willing to buy used. I dont want a $4k exhaust system either. I saw a Remus going for 1k. If I liked the sound of that in person I would be down for that. But I think it will be hard for me to buy something I havent heard in person. So to answer your question I would like something on the less expensive side but only if it makes me smile when I press the pedal on the right.

I would prefer to go with connecting pipes to make it easier to go back to stock/change in the future.

Ideally I would like something throating with a bit of an exotic sound to it.

I've been very happy with the E.Sport. I mainly got it for the sound (I know its as heavy as stock) and looks wise, most people frown on the "hang down" look like stock...although I do love the tips.
As far as drone, its not much of an issue. I rarely even notice it. Yet, its light years different from stock. Deeper note, and when on even mild, or moderate throttle, very pleasing (when compared to stock).
I put mine on myself over 4 hrs and have had no issues. I liked Dev's Race note better, but I had to tailor mine to my driving habits and circles (ie..office, neighborhood etc.) I did not want too much attention..

because we don't have enough exhaust vids

here's my gintani axle back. This is one of the earlier production models from gintani before they split it up into "race" and "sport"

http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...7.flv&newest=1

when i first got it the drone was pretty loud from 1K-2k, but now it doesn't really bother me.

Russell,

I would take a closer look at the Gintani Race or the Gintani Sport rear section (no x-pipe).

It's completely bolt-on, and Gintani is currently running a special for $1700 + shipping on it.

Here's the link to their thread which advertises their special: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=338822

I personally haven't heard the Sport version yet.

I'm thinking it's about 35-40% quieter compared to my Gintani Race rear section only?? (that's just a guess from my part).

Now, if you're comparing the Sport rear section to my entire Gintani Race combined w/catless x-pipe.......Then I would say the Sport rear section is likely 500% quiter LOL.

Looks like Ill just have to hear some in person. It looks like all the ones I was thinking about aren't installed on any locals tho. But what do I know anyways...

I took my car to Choung yesterday cause they are going to do the differential fluid swap on it. I hope to get it back soon. He said someone up there had exhaust on one but I dont think he was there when I dropped it off. I may have to drive by and say hi to the D bag salesman who tried to sell me an M3 for 10K more than I bought mine for.
