We did Euro delivery on our 535i and had a great time. The marriot is very close and we got a great price on priceline.com. We did a ton of research. Let me know how I can help |

Just did ED last month....still waiting on the car to arrive at the dealer (it is at the dock). This is the only way I will get my BMW's from now on.
The ED program was started as an owner loyalty program back in 60's. You are basically paying the same price as the dealer for the car, so the only skin off of BMW is for the 2 weeks of insurance as they already pay to ship the car back to the states. You can get tickets to Munich pretty cheap depending on the time of year. Priceline for hotels. You can stay for a week for less than $1500.00. The roads are awesome, especially the ones near the small towns. Gas is very expensive though (more than double the cost of a fill-up in the states). Learn to use the trains when in the cities. Be careful if you decide to go to Paris or Southern Italy.....they drive very (extremely agressive). Also in Paris, make sure your hotel has a garage. They take the term bumper literally in Paris. The use them to park. Our delivery expert told us about this at the Welt...we thought she was joking. Almost all of the cars we saw on the street in Paris had damaged bumpers and fenders. Anyway, visit bimmerfest.com and check out the ED section and the ED WIKI. It will tell you how to do everything. It really is a great experience and you save money on the car. |

So you have over 5K posts and still have no idea about ED...... I am assuming you do know how to search as there is a section dedicated to this..... and post #4 pretty much explains it all.....
