The Hoosier R6 work great on the track. They are a very popular tire.

What car are you running these on? Do you need a DOT tire? Are you running a square setup? What is your rim size?

Can you run a BFG R1 in a 245/40/18 on all 4 corners? I have some real nice ones for $100 each. I also have a 245/35/18 Hoosier R6 for $125 each.

The 255/18 come through the shop but not very often.

I'm looking to put these on my M3 using the OEM 18s. I think I want to stay with 275/35R18s on the rear.

What do you think would be a good option for the front OEM 18x8.5 rim?

I think the 245/35/18 would be a good match (and I get a lot of them). It specs out at 24.7" diameter and is designed for a 8-9.5" rim. The 255/35/18 has 24.8" diameter and fits a 8.5-10" rim. The 275/35/18 fits a 9-11" rim and has a 25.5" diameter.

Ideally, I would suggest you get another set of rear rims and run a 275/35/18 on all 4 corners.

The 265/645 are not a 45 series tire. They are close to a 35 series but for some reason, the Rolex series marks the tires differently.

What kind of car are you running? I know a lot of guys running a 275/35/18 on all corners or the E46 M3. Maybe someone can chime in on rim/offset size required to make that happen.

I'll keep you posted on the new arrivals.

Are you running OEM 18s? If yes, I've played this scenario many different ways in my head...the best that I've found given JPJP's selection is

255/35R18 fr
275/35R18 rr

in the R6. This setup is about .7" smaller in outer diameter than OEM...comparing Tire Rack Specs of course. So its not too far off.

Eventually I do want to run square OEM 18s.

just bought a porsche 944 turbo track car. It has 17" 911 wheels and currently has hoosier 275r? 17's square. (not exactly sure whats on this) I'm going to need a square setup. Any idea what 17" wheels people put on these, and what tires might fit?

Was wrong on my tire size. What's on there now are 245/265/18 on 4 corners. Not sure what sidewall that equates to. Assuming pretty thin? There about the tallest tire I could imagine stuffing in there. Need 4 tires tho
