I had my B16 coilovers on my car now for years. Trying to get things dialed in more for track use so am wondering if adjustable end links would be beneficial. Or combination of end links and sway bars? or are the B16's designed around the oem sway bar and end links?

I've seen varying comments on this so I thought I'd actually call/contact Bilstein and ask myself but the B16 Damptronic IS still rebuildable by Bilstein so long as the wiring part isn't all messed up. If they are simply worn out from tons of use they can still rebuild. I want to say it was $225 per shock and they said up to 12 weeks turnaround time.

Any Update
I just read through the 9 pages and finished a box of chocolates....
Is there any update as of almost JULY 2020?! I have ~73,000 on the E92 M3 and its about time to figure out what to do with the shocks. Whats the best move today? Keep praying for this vaporware so I can keep the EDC? What comes close? Thanks and happy early 4th y'all. |

Mine are supposed to be arriving today via FedEx...
They've been on order so long that I couldn't even tell you when I originally placed it and was shocked beyond belief when I saw they had actually shipped. Unfortunately, I have quite a few projects stacked up, so it may be a while before I can get them installed At least they are starting to ship out though! Good luck to everyone looking for a set. |

Yep! Arrived today. Opened them up quickly to make sure it's all there and the right kit given the lack of news on other kits shipping I'll update once I get them installed. Doubt I get to them this weekend though. |

I have a set of these with camber plates for the front that will be up in classifieds soon.
Don't expect to save any money, just don't have to wait.

What's the mileage on them, and asking price?

I just put them in classifieds. I'm guessing ~12-15k miles on them.

Yes. The fronts are 100% ready to go straight onto the car. These camber plates also make no additional noise which is nice.

After waiting for over 2 years, mine have arrived next week... and at this point I'm not sure how long I will keep my car so I'd rather just sell them Just listed them in the marketplace if anyone is interested

for the amount of time it takes for these to come in it wouldn't be worth it if you had issues or needed to rebuild which can take another 2 months.

It depends. The downtime would be an issue for a daily driven M3 no doubt. In which case these are not the best candidate.
Whatever reviews we've seen on these, are all positive and raving about their excellence as a dual duty setup. For a more dedicated/track warrior setup, Ohlins DFV with custom springs or TCK would be a better buy.

Four years later, I finally got a new set of these B16 Damptronic coilovers in hand! Ordered it last week when these bad boys had resurfaced out of the depths of Narnia.

I had Ohlins on my last E92 and absolutely loved that setup. Very curious to see how these compare.
