Sharp, you might be able to have your $400 special order fee waived as per Mark's advice. And for some we just have to put up with the incompetance of a local dealer because we really don't have any alternative. Also you might be able to work out a better deal, take a look at this thread if you haven't already:

At my local dealer, when I spec the car out ZCP isn't even offered in their system, it seems it will have to be an individual order. Did anyone get the ZCP for less that $5185, any thoughts.

Sidenote: DCT was $3900, and apologies for not posting in New Car Section and I've already read the 2011 invoice price thread.

7MA/Comp package is definitely available. There do seem to be regional (competency) issues in ordering it but its nationally available. I had issues in ordering 7MA but when I escalated to BMW national distribution, the package was miraculously added to my order despite being told repeatedly by the stealership that it was not available on an E90. I was quoted $5650 + $400 to order.

Up date on mine since I have taken delivery.
My CA didn't know of the Competition Package, however upon my request looked it up, and indeed we agreed on adding the 7MA to my order. Which I can confirm was delivered as specified.

Also, I love it.
They had a Sapphire Black 1M Coupe at The Welt, and with the same wheels the two sit so completely differently (at least the E90) that the wheels work well on both in my view, and in a different way.

The ride on the German roads was no more intrusive than the V8 rumble that is ever present.

How does it ride with the ZMA? Was it worth it?

Nice.
So you have an edition model then? Or just made ordering skills?

I haven't driven a Non-7MA M3 so I'm no judge on the comparison.
To me it was worth it from an aesthetic perspective, and I don't tend to mod cars mechanically.

In Comfort on the German roads it was plenty "comfortable" but still no boat to be sure. Sport felt very firm, but Clarksons' comments (Re: teenagers face) were as you might expect, much exaggerated. :P

Nope I think it is just timing but if it is a mistake I will be paying the $5185 but from what I have seen, from other people on here it does sound like the $3900 figure is the correct number. At $3900 that is great value!

Sweet.
I'm jealous, I ended up paying $5003 for 7MA which is below (original) invoice, but a healthy amount above $3900.

I can't believe I missed a $1700 reduction by two weeks! That's a slap in the face.

Also I bet it no longer has the $400 special order fee. This is going to make me extra grumpy for the next ~6 weeks.

I would take it up with your dealer as this seems to have been happening for a little while according to other people on this forum. My dealer was waiting for the BMW Canada invoice before completing my proper bill of sale.

Now that's a real deal at $3900. I would've checked that box without thinking twice.

Go twist their arm James! $1700 sure buys alot of mods. Or diapers. Lol.

Been watching this thread and thought it was a good time to join in. My E90 was ordered on Feb 28th and I was still able to make changes as of Friday as I'm not in production yet. I phoned my sales advisor this am and asked him to look into this on Monday, I had orderd both the 19s and EDC so this oblivisously would be a better deal. Will let you know what he says but he didn't know much about it when I talked to him.

Anyways, now that I'm registered for the forum, I just want to say hi and would be interested in participating in any M3 get togethers this summer here in Calgary. Was told car should be here near the end of May.

I take delivery in about a week of my car, $3900 probably would have swayed me towards it... oh well, I plan on changing the wheels anyway.

Mine should be here by the end of May as well, so a Calgary meet is certainly in order! My CA is checking on the reduction of the 7MA price as well, so I`ll post as soon as I get an update.

- 10 mm lowere susp
- Comp wheels

I was quoted on my e90 build with ZOK - $3900; then when the confirmation got put through my dealers system it increased to 7MA - $5900...Dang in I now am getting charged $5900 + $400 special order fee...

I need to get this clarified...

Gearhead999s, did u call BMW Canada to getting the new/lower pricing confirmed? Thanks!
