Selling a set of Cool Carbon street pads for StopTech ST60 front / ST40 rear BBK. I bedded these in and used them for three weeks of daily driving before going back to a set of StopTech pads. The Cool Carbons put off a lot less dust and have slots for the OEM sensors, which I really like. However, I find them to be a bit too track-oriented for my driving style... when they're cold the bite is excellent, but that makes it tough to stop at a light smoothly; they tend to grab on me.

As you'll see from the photos there's no noticeable wear on the pads; they've not been tracked or used at any events, just bedded then three weeks of driving to work. These were $270 new from EAS; asking $150 shipped.

Here's a blurb from the EAS website:

Cool Carbon Performance establishes the new reference in performance braking, specifically our street/track (S/T) formula, created for the driving enthusiast. Cool Carbon formulas have been developed at German R&D facilities and have been tested extensively on the German autobahn.

Unique ceramic structures assure heat dissipation at much faster rates, while allowing consistent performance from cold to extreme temperatures. All products are manufactured at QS approved facilities and processed using “true positive molding” ensuring that only the finest braking materials will be delivered to our customers.

Street Performance/Track Tuned (S/T)
This compound is a higher friction level than OEM, with much better torque and stopping capability. It is very stable, both cold and hot to temperatures exceeding 600° C (1112° F), due to a special "hollow" ceramic structure that exhibits excellent heat dissipation characteristics. Stainless steel noise shims, bonded to what is already a very quiet formula, ensure virtually no noise under all driving conditions. Improved pedal feel and significantly reduced dust can be expected.

Features:
- Excellent initial bite
- Consistent torque
- Excellent stopping ability & temperature stability
- Very good fade resistance
- Long life, rotor friendly
- Low dust
- Virtually without noise
- Excellent for daily street use and with very good track performance
