Has anyone experienced wind noise coming from the top corners of the passenger and drivers windows when driving an excess of 180km/hr?

I recently when on a road trip and i noticed that after 180 wind noise started to increase as if air was leaking in through the windows.

I read in this forum to adjust the window angle, should i just buy the new door (number 9) seal to solve the problem?

If I change this item, should it solve the problem?

I had this issue too, and noticed my door had come a little out of alignment. I adjusted the latching mechanism and now my door sits flush again and the wind noise is almost totally gone.

You mean window alignment or door alignment?

You can adjust both

Window - underside of the door, remove cap, and adjust window inward or out

Door - you can loosen the latch, and fine tune the closure

OP, are you periodically conditioning the seals & gaskets? If they start to get dry and brittle, air gets by and makes weird noises.

Try slightly adjusting your window.

On the underside of the door there is a black round plug. Remove this plug and it will allow access to the mounting location of the glass on the regulator.

What are you using to condition? 303 aerospace here and maybe black wow (?) as well. Don't have it in front of me. Been a while.

I use GPL 250 and Nextzett grease and I have 2008 e93. They look and function brand new.

Is this pretty easy to do?

I was having similar issue, tried to soften the seals/rubber by that "gummipledge" oem stuff (it helped a bit, mostly protecting the seals from being stripped by windows running up/down), tried to angle the glass (bottom service opening, it was fine at the top but not perfect in the middle of the window - rear section, talking about vertical clearance when closed door) and finally managing it done by moving the locking point of the door lock a bit inside (actually placing the door flush to the rest of the car body).
Free of noise up to some 200 or so, I do not need to go any faster anyway :-)
So take your time and inspect your door position first - align it with the body and start from there.

My old E92 I adjusted the window angle with the little adjustment screw and it got rid of all the wind noise.
