+1 no kidding..... I hope the OP did not pay MSRP +$10K for the increased performance.

GLWS anyway but it is not going anywhere for that asking price.

you are talking to the wrong guy when it comes to not knowing about the car I bought. I know everything about the car. That's why I had answer when someone said there is no added performance which I just answered. So where are you talking from?

I lowered my asking price.
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=893358

If you were to make a m3 look like a limerock the cost would be well over $10K. But the limerock park they add $10k to the price which includes the competition package.

Thanks though.

There is NOT added performance from the "ecu chip" as you call it, it is exactly the same as a non limerock. Could you gain 5 hp from the axle back exhaust, mayyyybe. But unlikely....

I'm not the only one laughing at your previous response pal....this thread is quite entertaining though.

They said the ECU chip is slightly different on the Limerock, so that's why I said it, that's according to encyclopedia. Specifically the ECU affects the traction settings. BMW says the m exhaust adds 5hp. Idk if it does or not but it is what they say. your giving an opinion, all I am saying is what I know and saw on paper.

But yeah I know your not the only one laughing because most people do not know what they talk about, so when they see someone educating them they are closed minded like you .

What are you talking about?

You do realize that Duke University, Princeton, Harvard, and John Hopkins Professors all say to NEVER use wikipedia for anything. So throw that out the window.

I have to agree with Chris S on this one.

You will be lucky to get low $60's for an E92 M3.

The car is special ok? By virtue of being painted that bright color and that BMW actually sold this car as some sort of a limited run. Unfortunately being limited in production without it having components or power that is unavailable to the other M3s out there is what's causing most critical thinkers here to scoff at the asking price.

Honestly, What you have going for you is the color (most wouldn't touch it but the few who like it will pay for it because it is rare). And the car has a few pieces that cost real money....but guess what. Everyone in this thread can throw in an order on tischer and get the exhaust, cf bits delivered in 5 days or less. 640 for the oem splitters and 410 for the rear spoiler. The exhaust can be had new for 3200-3300 between tischer and steve thomas bmw. And the wheel? 680 or something.

So look, for roughly 5400 in mod money, anyone can turn any M3 they want into an identically performing and looking(aside from paint) car that you have right there. Add to that, most people do not want to drive a tangerine colored car even tho we can all appreciate the color, and you have a very limited secondary marketplace for this car.

If I were in a position to be upcharged for a paint scheme, I'd get a frozen one and do the same mods and have virtually the same car.

You make the most sense, thanks for being educated and not talking from the sky. But I am being honest I swear the limerock is a better deal than if you were to make your m3 look like this. the exhaust is $5,000 at the dealer, spoiler another $600, steering wheel about $1,000, the front carbon fiber spliters about $1000, plus the competition package, and plus the paint its another $5,000. SO your looking at $12,600 in mods not including the competition package, the sticker price on a limerock the extra charge is $10,000 and that includes competition package. so technically it is about 4k cheaper with competition included than making your m3 look like a limerock
