Just got to the port of exit. The train from Regensburg to Bremerhaven took 3 days... It's a 6hr distance between the two...

I guess that answers my question if they go on weekends or not.

Does anyone know how to get updates from this point on? Is the 800 number still of any use? or do we have to put our VIN in with the shipping company?

VIN with shipping company - Wallenius Wilhelmsen - next ship out is the Aida - tomorrow (6 April, 2011).

I'm hoping for that one or the Taiko. Do we just put our VIN in as the 'customer reference number' on WW's tracker on their website once the boat leaves to see if it's on there?

Yes. Looks like the next one will be the Bess, departing on the 13th of April. I think you should make it on the Aida. Satellite image does not show a whole lot of cars waiting, of course some could already be on the ship.

Lucky for you though almost all of these ships stop in NY, I have to wait for the ones that port in Baltimore, that's where my VPC is

Keep in mind that BMW also ships with K-Line to the East Coast. I came in through Brunswick, GA. but my ship (Bosporus Highway) first unloaded at Baltimore...

I checked Wallenius Wilhelmsen for a ship going into LA, but they don't have any. The sticky forum says:

"For west coast deliveries, the shipping company's website (NYK Lines) is http://www2.nykline.com/home/index.html. You can also use http://www.dbh.de/index.php?id=151&L=0"

I looked at those two, but couldn't figure out how to track their schedules. Are you sure you are still at the dock? Check with your SA, lots of people say that tracking via 800 number gets iffy here.

I checked he said its still sitting at the port. I found the ship that my car might possibly go on this April 9 th . That ship won't arrive in California till may 5 th.

I made it on the Aida as well, in NYC on the 21st. My dealership is in NJ (30 min from port), but idk if it will arrive by the 23d on saturday.

Funny because my last BMW was on the aida as well =)

Yup, I ordered mine sight unseen. It actually wasnt until last friday that I got to see Stevenross's mineral white M3 in long island right by my office. It really is a stunning color and I'm so pleased with my decision. What color did you end up going with M3e93NYC?

Ive had JB and AW 335s and I love the white. I was unsure of MW vs AW on the M3 but I stuck with AW.
