Feeler: 08 M3 E90 Lease assumption ($636payment)

Car is gone!

Hi, I have a 08 M3 Sedan 6speed, Melbourne Red metallic exterior, bamboo beige novillo leather interior, carbon fiber trim. Fully loaded except for the DCT and extended leather options.

Options list:
-Tech pack (M drive, Comfort access Navigation, EDC adjustable suspension)
-Premium pack (leather, carbon fiber trim, power folding mirrors, garage opener, compass mirror, bluetooth/BMW assist, auto dimming interior/side mirrors)
-Cold weather pack (heated seats, folding rear seats, ski bag, headlight washers)
-Premium sound (825 watt sound system)
-iPod hookup
-Sat radio
-HD radio
-rear/side window shades
-Moonroof

Mods:
- 19" Velocity Motors V710 wheels, 8.5" front, 9.5" back, Gunmetal finish. 245/40/19 front, 265/35/19 back Michelin PS2 tires.
- OEM Blackline tail lights
- 35% F1 Ceramic tint with lifetime warranty

New MSRP $67,720

Current miles: 10,750, allowed miles 36,500. Lease term is for 36 months, beginning 2/28/09 and ending 2/28/12. (So about 28 months left on the lease) Additional miles can be purchased for $.16/mi before the lease ends. Residual value at end of lease is $36,568

Current monthly payment is $603/month, with tax the payment is $636.82/month.

Car is in excellent condition, non-smoker driven, break in procedures followed and 1,200mi break in service performed. Next scheduled service is in 6,000 miles according to the onboard computer.

I am currently in Phoenix, AZ and will be moving to Denver, CO in about a month and I am a big snowboarding fiend, thus I am considering getting a SUV with winter tires for the extra snow clearance for my many future drives up to the mountain passes.

I put down a $1,300 security deposit I would like to be reimbursed for (two months SD to lower the leasing rate, SD will be returned to current leasee at end of lease by BMW Financial) and I am also asking for a $3,500 downpayment.

I know the downpayment aspect of this potential lease transfer may be daunting but I feel this is fair since I believe current 09 M3 sedans are leasing for $1,100-1,200 month with nothing down, and if you portion the $3500 down over the remaining 28 months, that means your effective lease payment would only be $636+$125 (3500/28) = $761/month.

(I see on leasetrader.com, the cheapest 08 E90 M3 lease offers are a $868 sedan asking $1800 down (so ~$950 effective lease payment), and a $999 sedan lease with 0 down with the vast majority of E90/92 lease payments being in the $1,000-1,400/month range.)

I am not 100% certain I want to change cars yet, hence why this is posted under the feeler title.

I only have this low quality pic of the car from my cell phone at the moment but will post up high quality exterior/interior pics soon.

If you can work on the down payment, I wouldn't mind picking this up.

Local is preferred but I'll do my best to facilitate any long distance buyers as well (aka pick them up at the Phx airport or help schedule transport of car).

On that note, do you have the original wheels for the car? It would suck for whoever assumes it to get socked with a $2K+ bill at turn-in to return the car to original spec.

Nice looking car, GL with the assumption.
