What are your thoughts of two tone?

Moderator edit: Poll Added.

Just curious as to what people think about the two tone interiors? I purchased my car about 2 years ago and upon arrival to see the vehicle I noticed it was two tone black/red on AW.

I actually had no idea two tone existed in the M3's... I've grown to like my interior but I am interested what other peoples thoughts are on it?

like it? hate it? indifferent?

Its nice, its different. As long as you like it, thats all that matters. I personally prefer all fox red.

well, at the time it came as a bit of a surprise. I was much more thrilled it was a black/red combo vs the grey-blueish/black combo, Although I'm sure some people love that as well.

Would I have liked full fox red on my AW, heck yes... but everything else was to perfect for me to pass it up based on something that seems very nominal to me.

I like it. It’s subtle and adds character. Extended Fox is too much red. I personally only like Silverstone leather in two-tone guise.

Did you not see interior pics of your car before purchase?

I don't like it but that's my personal opinion. I would rather get 1 color. Either all black or fox red.

I prefer full fox red (not extended - that's too much) over the fox red/black two-tone, but I still like the two tone - looks good & certainly unique, especially on the E90 as it was only offered 1 year.

I also like the palladium/black two-tone, quite a bit actually, even though I don't really care for the full palladium.

As someone else said, as long as you like it, that's all that matters.

My friend actually sent me a craigslist ad during my long search for my perfect e90 M.

In the picture their weren't any interior shots... but everything else including mileage, the car being only two owners, and a folder packed with invoices from services performed on the car, I didn't care about anything else and rushed over to see it in person.

Did a PPI and the rest was history

I think the 2 tone interiors were the thing of late 90's early 2000's but if it's with black it works regardless.

I think two tone can make an interior special. Looking forward to pics to see if it works here.

Not a fan. So much that I'm pretty sure it would be a deal breaker for me if the car had it.

I took a hard look at an E90 with the weird black red interior. It was offered to me for trade in value and I probably should have bought it ($26k for a 45k mile 6MT ZCP), but that was one of the reason why I turned it down.

I am very happy with my mint black interior but if anybody wants to trade their two tone Fox (E90), I'm all ears.

My friend's car, just so this thread isn't useless.

I have black and would take two tone over it any day. TT red on white, gray, silver, red, or black and TT silver on gray, silver, black, or blue.

I have silverstone exterior and I like my black/grey two tone. I will admit, some two tones are a little "eh" for me. Think my favorite is speed cloth, but alas.

Here's a few pics
