Rubbing?: Occasionally on a large bump I hear a thunk in the rear... happens unloaded or fully loaded four adults...but even four adults does not make it rub any other time, turns dips etc, so far no visible wear/ damage on tires or fenders
how flushed is it? can you post some pics?

I wasn't willing to add any more camber, and I'm fine living with the occasional rub. If I did it over again I'd go with a slightly higher wheel offset, which would solve the problem. But to answer your question, I assume a 285/30 would be narrow enough to avoid rubbing, as just the very edge of the tire rubs.
Is a 2 degree camber a lot? What's the stock camber in comparison? I'm getting my car aligned soon. Trying to figure out what the best setup is (mostly street use, no tracking). thanks for everyone's input. members are always helpful.

That's perfectly flush. I have the same but et20 on the front. I'm very surprised a 19x10 et 25 fit on the front. With my et 20 there is just a hair of clearance between the rim and the spring on my kw sleeves. Here's some pics of my setup.

-2 is still within the stock camber range. I didn't want anything that would cause excess tire wear. And same here, mostly street driving.

2013 non zcp M3, stock suspension.

square 17x10.5 et27 apex arc8
275/40/17 tires

would these fit with no mods?
Apex recommends 3-5mm spacers and -2.5 camber, what about thicker spacers, like 10 or 12? which are easier to find.

thanks

The rears are gonna rub most likely on the fender on the side. 255 and 305s are gonna cause hell with your balance and the stability control btw

On stock suspension you should be fine in the rear but the front might nick the fender liner. If lowered the front should be fine but the rear will be close with the 305s. 295s would probably work. The ADs have a very square sidewall which makes them much more prone to rubbing.

Does anyone know if this set up would rub?

2011 BMW E90 M3 comp package with EDC

Michelin pilot sports/ HRE P43sc

Front: 19 x 9 et22. Tires: 255/35

Rears: 19x 10.5 et 27 tires: 295/30

Side note I had these rims n tires on my 08 e90 m3 and they slightly rubbed on big dips and bumps but it was a base m3 no comp package and no edc just curious if it makes a diff for worse or better?

2011 E90 M3 w/ZCP
Just installed 275/30/19 and 295/30/19 PSS on stock ZCP wheels.

Front: No rubbing

Rear: Slight rubbing on the bump on the seam between bumper cover and quarter panel. Most of the bump has worn off with no apparent negative effects on body panel stability, and much less rubbing. No effect on tires, other than slight deposition of material from that bump.

Well, you can forget all that. The new car is fitted with a turbocharged straight six. Turbocharging? In an M car? That’s like putting gravy on an ice cream.

<-- Newbie

Looking at a square setup for my NON M3 E92. Are the fender clearances different on a M3 and stock e92? I see you guys running big tires up front. I already ordered a set of 19x9.5 et33 all the way around. I have a full set of 255/35/19. Can't find anything showing if they'll clear or rub.

Any insight?
