so wheel questions
Just wondering what is the necessary diameter for a wheel to clear the e9x m3 calipers? Sorry I have searched

thanks slicer, I am aware of that but saw past threads where some 18s barely clear the caliper. but I might be looking into it wrong. Thanks

Some 18s don't clear not because the diameter is too small but because there is too deep of a dish/not an aggressive of enough of an offset and the spokes will hit the caliper.

Our 17" ARC-8's can clear the E9x M3 calipers as well. Although it's not a popular setup, we certainly think the 17x10" ET25 square setup is understated. Here are a few shots of one of our employee's cars on the 17x10" ET25 square setup:
The rear suspension has a control arm bolt that has close clearance. Here is a shot we took to show how much room there is with this setup: Some of our customers have gone as far as having this bolt head professionally machined down ~2mm to have a worry free 17" fitment which is a great, budget friendly, track oriented setup.
