Hello, you would need to order both actually - the top one is the USB drive loaded with the 2019 BMW map data and the bottom one is the FSC Activation Code (your choice of either a 1-time use or 2-year).

Thanks for confirming. Ah, and back up to $160 then.

When did maps get so expensive? Infiniti wants the same for updated maps in our QX. I updated the maps in my E46M for like $15 back in the day. And other manufacturers give map updates for free.
I'd update them for the sake of updating, but at $150 maybe not, just stick to the phone. I use the iDrive for features other than nav.

Hi, I would like to update my maps but now i'm a bit confused as to what I need to order..

I thought it was just:
2019 Navigation Map Update - Vehicles from 2010 and on - BMW (PK2018NAVUPDATE)

In the post above you said BOTH are needed:

i have a 2013 e92

Item # PK2018NAVUPDATE (now the 2019 update) is the bundle that includes both the FSC Code and the USB map update. That's all ya need - and it's still $116 on our site. (we recommend the 2 year code while it's still the same price as the 1 time code)

The USB map updates are also available separately for those who still have an active FSC code. (for example: those who purchased the 2 year code in 2018, and now want to update to the 2019 maps)

Does the CIC update also update the software for the NAV system? Mine is still original 2009.

No, these are just the map updates. If your vehicle won't take the update due to out of date software, you'll first need to visit your local dealership to have the software updated.
