HiFi Audio Upgrade

Hi,

I have e93 and I think I have HiFi audio. No center speaker, 4 tweeters, 4 mid, and 2 under seat subs. More and more I browse around to look for options to upgrade my sound, it only gets more complicated and confusing.

So my first step is to replace oem amp with JL Audio XD600/6 amp using Technic harness. And if I like the outcome, I'll look into replacing 4 tweeters and 2 subwoofers.

This may sound stupid but is it possible to just add JL amp to existing system rather than replacing it?

And later if I decide to replace speakers, do I need to add/replace anything else? Any recommendations on tweeters and subwoofers?

Am I on the right track here?
