RANT. vorsteiner..

ive been a member on here for along time occasionally doing the odd photoshops for people when i have time.

i came across this a few months ago. ever since then i couldnt stop but think of it from time to time.

this photoshop was done in 2008. A very long time ago.. am quite annoyed because it looks so much like mine.. maybe am just paranoid

this is a line drawing of the kit i originally sent to Brabham/veritas after they asked me to do a mock up version of a road going GTR version.

the vorsteiner seems much more aggressive and too much is going on, don't think it looks like yours other than them both being widebodies..

yours looks much smoother and flows

i dont think it looks like yours at all... aside from the fact that its a widebody. Not to take anything away from your car, which i think looks sick.

I think you are just being paranoid. They look pretty different aside from fenders which is what most wide body conversions look like anyways.

sorry to break it to you but I think OP is being over paranoid about something or feeling unappreciated about something

when I picture widebody's, they all look like a RC car to me... so does that mean HPI or Tamiya or Yokomo should rant too?

aside from the fact that your car looks completely different than the vorsteiner production, a fender flare is a fender flare, is a fender flare. since it's apparent you don't live in Southern CA, where widebody fender flares/arches are a dime a dozen, it sounds like a waste of emotion being attached to an old sketch. that being said, you becoming paranoid about your sketch means that you're discrediting all the designers at vorsteiner, while simultaneously giving yourself far too much credit. /thread.

Yeh maybd i am being paranoid, it wasnt me who pointed it out, one of my colleagues at university did, ha its not my car either its just a photoshop, the design was requested from brabham racing back in 2008, if shocked me at first because i thought the vorsteiner kit was from brabham themselves until i did some research and found out vorsteiner made the kit.
