Mode Carbon side skirt extension experience?

I ordered Mode Carbon side skirt extension a while ago and finally have a body shop to install it recently.

The shop cannot really fit the extension to the side skirts. The fitment seems just not right. I already email Mode Carbon but I want to see if I can get some ideas here.

Has anyone had experience installing the mode carbon extension? If you do, how was the fitment, and do you need to do any modification?
