Amber Brake and DSC light came on?

Ok, I know that this should be an easy one for me to figure out. But before my departure, I was driving to the airport and this light showed up. I am away and want to troubleshoot this problem so I can fix it when I return. I looked in the owner's manual and it isn't giving me definite reason why my brake light and DSC light is on. Both lights are amber, I pushed the DSC button and it didn't go out.
I have purchased brakes and rotors for all corners I just haven't installed them yet. This is the first time I saw this light come on. 2008, 59000 miles.
Have you seen these indications before

Did you try running the diagnostic function on the steering whee column? Check the service menu in the iDrive? Usually gives a bit more info.

Yes, I did that and also ran a diagnostic tool.

I had the same problem and mine was the front right wheel speed sensor. You need a diagnostic tool that can read the DSC codes and will be able to read each sensor, you have 4 of them, one on each wheel. I'm not suggesting for you to start buying sensors, but maybe clean them and see if it will stop? But I would have them checked. It will specify a special BMW code.
