Nice pic btw
Thanks! I've not driven a non-R, but my buddy who just bought the R has and told me the difference between the two is significant. So much so that he would not even consider buying the non-R if the R weren't an option. I thought that was interesting.

For me, the GT350R just feels too big. My E90 M3 is the largest sports car/sedan I've owned and I'd consider it to be my limit.

A couple more pics just because:

Did mine last weekend. I try to clean it every couple of months at most...feels like a new wheel every time.

Same. I only drive 1x/wk though so that turns out to be about a cleaning for every ~10 drives, lol!

You need to loan the Borla S-type to me over the winter. I'll make sure it gets properly broken in.

How does the sound compare to what's in the Borla sales video?

After the E36 M3 which was just a base 3 shell with M parts added, BMW AG went out of their way to have a big visual separation between the base 3 and the M version. I remember hearing somewhere that the E46 M3 was 9 inches wider than the base 3, at the back fenders. I'm sure the E9x had similar changes between garden variety 3 series and the M builds.

Tryed both Atak and S. The latter is extremely bassy. Couldn't stand it while the guy I sold it to love it.

The S is bassy? I know that the sales video isn't the same as hearing it in person but I thought the ATAK sounded that way in the video. The best way I could explain the S - again, from the video - was "silvery".

I've never heard either one in person, unfortunately.

I try to limit where I pimp my shit on the forums, but this might help.
