Please just leave it on the 6th

Cars and Coffee is the only way I can get a good turn out of people You guys did not get to see all the vettes and stuff that came out with me they went to a place to tune their vettes after cars and coffee.

I think you should not just keep this Meet open to just M3's but other BMW's as well you can get a bigger turn out this way Well at least in my part of Texas M3post, E90post and 1addicts do dinner meets and stuff together
I've added a poll onto this thread, so that we can get a vote count on if the majority would like many more Bimmers to join in, as well.

i don't care what anyone drives as long as they have respect and appreciation for all things car it would be fun to meet up with more people, don't know how i'm going to keep track of all your names/faces/usernames!

was nice to meet you shady1 (mine was the new one with decals), reaching out to non Ms/1s, etc is a great idea.

Attention guys:

I'm starting to find out that I will have to fly overseas and pick up my wife & daughter (long story), so I will not be able to make it to our March 6th meet.

I am very sorry about this, and I've tried my level best to think it over, but it seems impossible to figure a solution for me to make it some how. I've even thought about moving the meet back to Feb. 27th, but I'll be flying some time extremely close to that date.

I kindly request that you guys gather this meet without me this time around.

I'd hate for this meet to be canceled, so let's still make it happen please.

I will still try my level best to organize this meet within this thread, even though I'm not gonna be present.

If you guys wanna go ahead and advertise this meet to the all the other Bimmers, that's perfectly cool.

Since everyone enjoyed Fuddrucker's last time, we can go for lunch over there again for this meet (if everyone's ok with it).

Very importantly, I wanted to ask: Who would like to lead everyone at this coming meet?

Nawaaz,

Sorry to hear about your change of plans. But family always comes first! (Real family, not our bimmer families )

I am finalizing my schedule for March and still not 100% sure I can make it to the meet...if I can, I'd be willing to "lead" it, though I'm not sure what that really entails other than getting there early? Hopefully some more veteran members will respond soon.

Anyway do let us know if plans change and you end up being in town. I'm most likely going to be out of the country for the first Saturdays in april/may, so march may be the last official meet i make for some time

Thank you for your understanding, my friend.

Leading the meet will require you to:
  • Make it at the meeting spot on time
  • Making sure the members are present before you depart for C&C
  • Being the lead car when going to C&C (and trying your best not to lose the folks that are following behind
  • Gathering everyone when it's time to leave C&C (perhaps 10-10:30 AM)
  • Leading everyone to choice of restaurant (perhaps Fuddrucker's)
  • Taking opinions on where to hold a quick photo shoot (if desired)
  • Seeing if everyone wants to do anything else, or you may call it a day.
