Thanks. After installing my bar I see the concave connection tab on the strut. So far nothing seems to bind but it'll definitely be better to use the washer. Using aftermarket endlinks btw

Bringing this back form the dead. Would a eibach 335i non adjustable 28mm front bar be beneficial to my e92 m3? Stock is 26.5 hallow but eibach is solid.

Every mm on a swaybar is significant. That said, if you can sell it and buy a 29mm or thicker, that would be better. These cars like a big front bar and Dinan and a Hotchkiss sell ones in the 33mm range.

Bumping this one up as lots of good info.

Any update from those who installed both Hotchkis bars? I don’t want to dramatically change the characteristics of the car, but an improvement over stock is welcome. I’ll be on H&R springs and stock ZCP suspension. I have the rear subframe out for bushing refresh so this will be a great time to do the RSB.

Are adjustable end links an absolute must with aftermarket bars?

Will be installing both of my Hotchkis sways shortly. Also currently refreshing all suspension components (control arms, rear solid subframe bushings, rear diff bushings).

Planning to run mine with the stock endlinks temporarily (paired with Swift springs/stock dampers) and then swap out for Bimmerworld endlinks & Ohlins later this season.

Very nice
My end links are worn at 112k so I either buy OE or go adjustable

Got the front one in this weekend - no issues re-using the stock endlinks while on stock struts/lowering springs. Currently have the bar set to the softest setting.

Sweet
No clunks, binding or anything of that nature?

If are going for lowering springs and the hot hound rear sway bar you need aftermarket rear endlink ,
The stock one end link is not long enough and the sway bar touches the shaft boot during compression which leads to a tear.
Ask me how know .
