No, they aren't rubbing at all, actually. They took those pictures right after install and the tires still had a bunch of white goop (not sure what that's called) on them, used for the tire install.

Good deal. I misclassified the white goop (I think that's a technical mod term) for white rub.

I think the satin helps a little bit with the pics. Definitely creates a sheen that adds some dimension......or, I just got lucky.

Beautiful car. If you haven't done anything to the exhaust yet, that's a must do

I think the Eisenmann Race is the best sounding catback exhaust sold for the M3 IMO. Drone or no drone.

What size tires and offset are those?

Do you like the look of OEM black chrome grills/blinkers vs gloss black painted as well? Having a hard time choosing between the two.

Car looks wonderful! Have the same color and looking to go in a similar direction.

How is the oem exhaust mod? Did they do it to your own exhaust or was it a core replacement?

Thinking of doing this myself. Just need to rig my welder somewhere thats just sitting in storage or find a place where I can use one!

Up close and in the sunlight, you can see that the OEM black chrome has a slight metallic look to it, but from 5 or more feet away, I think they look nearly identical to a gloss black. When I bought those a year ago, I really wanted my mods to be just OEM.

You could go to a dealer and ask to see the black chrome grills in person and then you can see in person.

If you're not concerned about OEM parts, then I would do a painted gloss black. Gloss black matches the gloss black on the mirrors nicely, and it looks really good with gloss black hood scoops (which I just added a week ago ). A lot of members get these parts from IND and they are easy to install.

Agreed. The worst part is the discoloration around the welds on the can. Before lowering my car, I cringed looking at the rear. It's a little more hidden now, so I don't notice it as much, but you can still see it from certain angles.

If I wasn't planning on a new exhaust in the next year, I'd seriously consider painting the can a matte black. I've heard of some members that have done that successfully with some sort of high temp paint. Not sure of the long-term durability though.

Perfect, I thought thats what it may be like. I prefer to go with the OEM mods as well.

Thanks for the specs on the wheels. Setup looks really clean.

I'm actually up in Robinson Ranch. Nice little community. Very family friendly, especially for the kiddos. Just like Tustin.

My exhaust is still the stock exhaust, no mods. EAS sells the OEM exhaust mod and it's a core replacement. I'm not sure if they do the work themselves, or if it's contracted out. Their website has a nice YouTube video so you can hear the comparison between stock and modded. I'm sure other vendors sell this mod also.

Just finished the LB Grand Prix caravan from Calabasas, and I heard a lot of awesome exhausts from various M3's. Seriously considering doing this mod a lot sooner.
