New Member, Already Mod Addicted
How’s it going everyone. New member here and just wanted to introduce myself.
I got my 2009 Space Gray M3 about a year ago, and have loved it from day one. No mods had been done when I bought it, and I never had any intention to make any changes to it. I thought the car was perfect as-is. Plus, for the better part of five years I was driving everything from a Mazda RX-8 to a Honda Insight (I’ve got a long commute, so this was a necessary, albeit difficult, purchase….) so as far as I was concerned, the M3 was a supercar! But one day I stumbled across the M3 accessories page on the BMWNA website, and thought “man, those black chrome kidney grills are awesome…I gotta get ‘em”. And the rest is history. Since that time, I’ve been busy. First did the basic and relatively cheap mods (we all know “cheap” and “BMW” rarely go in the same sentence) like the BMW black chrome kidney grills, black chrome side gills, painted front reflectors and modest window tint. More recently, I’ve upped the budget and added a KW sleeve-over kit along with a Vorsteiner VRS Aero Front Lip. And then finally I got new wheels, VMR 710’s powder coated Black Satin, and added a BMW performance spoiler. Had most of the work done by EAS in Anaheim, CA. Thanks for hooking me up Kevin! Here's my E92 when I first bought it. I always thought it's a beautiful car, bone stock. And we all know it outperforms 95% of the cars on the road today. But what fun is that, leaving it stock? Here is my M today: I work in Long Beach, CA and right now they are setting up the barricades for the Grand Prix of Long Beach. I figured I’d sneak in a few pictures. This is at turn 10, just before the hairpin that leads to the front straight away on Shoreline Drive. Long Beach Convention Center is behind with the iconic whale mural by Weiland. Will eventually get LCI tails. The quality of my pics don't compare with the ones done by EAS, so here are a few they took: Here are more pics from EAS: http://www.europeanautosource.com/co...ck-v710-wheels Looking forward to eventually doing some performance mods, like a S/C kit and exhaust. Gotta wait for my wallet to recover first, though! Anyway, looking forward to contributing to the post. Thanks for reading!

I know that it's sort of cliché, but black wheels on an e92 are so sexy. have had my OEM GTS for ~1 year now - not even starting to get sick of them

I didn't think I would ever mod mine either. I think I'm done at 2 though. Both things had to go and it started with M performance gloss black grilles for me as well. It has ended (so far) with an Eisenmann Race exhaust. I'm completely satisfied...for now.

I like your garage. Are those all current? Quote:
Thanks! I think the blacked out look would look awesome. Quote:
Ain't that the truth! I told myself I wouldn't look at any pics of other modded cars for a while because I know there's something else I'll want to do. What do you think about your exhaust? Thanks! It's nice to be near the LBGP circuit. This location is literally like three blocks from me. Yeah, I know. Why mess with it, right?! I probably will do something later this year. I've been thinking about starting with Macht Schnell pulleys and an exhaust, and then doing an ESS S/C kit. Still need to do some more research.
