IMHO the leather in the regular 3 series is embarrassingly awful.

If you sit in a 3 series for awhile you'll soon spot a bunch of small "downgrades" from the M

That's why you don't take these reviews seriously, my friend has a silver 335i with coral red, grey poplar, the interior is just as nice as on the M3. The side bolster on the 335i is holding up a lot better than on the M3.

His car is tuned, FBO so the low end torque is really great.

I had the F30...I wasn't referencing the E92 335...BMW has gone downhill as far as the interior IMO...

I had an 09' 335 at one point as well and yes...that interior was better than the F30...

Congrats on your Cool M3 but what's a buy back? Did BMW gave you back the whole amount you paid for back due to your issues?

Yes they did...they trade invoice for invoice...minus incentives on new car...it worked out to be a good deal...

I have a 2013 M3 and a 2010 335i. The leather in the M is of a far higher quality; and maybe it is just my imagination, but the overall fit and finish just seem to be of a higher standard on the M than on the 335i.

Novillo is such higher quality that usually the side bolster driver side shows excessive wear and the leather on the seat cushion shows stretching in less than 15k miles.

Congrats.
Rule of thumb: never buy a new body style within the first 2 years of it's manufacturing.

Why the sarcasm? It is just my opinion. Or are you saying my opinion is wrong?

Agree, I'd take Dakota over Novillo any day of the week.

My 335i looked like new after a year and 10,000 miles, my M3, with <1,000 is already showing wear.

Congrats! Coming from someone who just recently switched from a 135i, I know how you feel!
