Clearly obvious that he lacked the experience in knowing the proper sitting and steering handling position under such circumstances. Be it on a track or not, something nasty would have likely happened. He seems like he was just gunning the motor without knowing there are limits. He's lucky the car didn't flip, and rumble through the rocks upside down, or maybe worse... Just plain silly.

Darwin at play, nothing else, he deserves it since he was driving like an idiot.
I wonder what was the most stupid thing : driving like that or posting the video on YouTUBE?

Looks like that car slightly came off the ground, coming off the hill, when trying to turn that corner but kept going straight.
Well atleast the GoPro survived the crash test |

A lot of haters on here. I'm sure this kid learned an invaluable lesson and luckily the consequences were realitvely minor. Hopefully this changes his perspective on things going forward. I made a similar mistake when i was his exact age, and i bet many others have here as well. It cost me a big chunk of money when i had very little. Humbling, and just what i needed at the time. Perhaps some of us will learn from his mistake, too? That's the real definition of wisdow - learning from others mistakes.
Aside from that, i've driven this road recently in a 911 and its a fantastic road, however i would've made a few passes to learn before pushing hard in a car as capable as an M3 (i actually owned a 2003 M3).

Someone crashes their car on a public road as a result of driving fast and immediately their idiots, they can't handle the car, they lack experience etc etc. shit happens. Some of u guys make it seem like your all pro drivers and drive nothing but the track and drive the speed limit everyday on public roads. Yeah you should probably be very careful when driving like that on public roads for the safety of others. But shit happens, and truthfully, all the real pro/experienced drivers started at a young age anyway, where they probably wrecked a few cars. No one is born a professional. Anyway, I'm glad the little guy is safe and didn't kill himself, let's just hope now that he learned a lesson. Cheers to all of u car enthusiasts, be safe.

Can't believe some of you say it's not his fault.
"ooh he's just a kid, he will learn his lesson" "ooh shit happens" "ooh you think you all drive like a pro" Umm.. what if he did kill some innocent people on that PUBLIC ROAD that day? Would you still say shit happens? This shouldn't have happened in the first place. Period. |

Really?????
+1 on not holding the wheel correctly. Even worse is that he is holding himself up with the wheel due to the recline of the seat. Thats why he had absolute zero control of the car. He also simply has zero idea how to drive. None. Zip. Nada. Zilch. Glad hes ok although that slap in the face by the airbag just may teach himsomething. Hopefully. Hey kid pull the video down off utube before ur ins co sees the blatent abuse and high rate of speed. <<< something else to learn btw.

I think back to when I was 17, 18, 19, etc. I was one reckless mofo. Not all the time, but I think back sometimes and just smh. I've gotten cars airborn multiple times on back roads. Lucky for me, I always managed to save my car from disaster. At 26, I'm definitely more civil on the hwy now.
