European delivery, incentives, order dates, and delivery dates

So I'm working on putting together an order for an M3. I want to do ED, but I don't want to take delivery until June. There are a handful of programs I qualify for right now (February):

$1500 lease cash (applies to M3 apparently)
$750 loyalty
Pull-ahead (my lease contract ends on July 14th 2013)

Here are my questions:

1) Can I place an order this month (February) for June European Delivery?

2) If I order today, but don't take delivery until June, do I still get the $2250 in incentives that were available today?

3) If I place an order for June delivery, what's the earliest I can turn my current car in under the pull ahead program?

I've been researching this as well. Somebody recently asked about doing this for an E93 and delaying ED till September so he could go to Oktoberfest.

I too am interested in a June delivery but also taking advantage of the 2250 in incentives PLUS the USAA $1500 incentive.

You should be able to delay pickup. I delayed mine about a month from my original pickup day at the Welt. This happened to coincide with the Oktoberfest. Munich is more expensive during the holiday, but what an amazing experience.

I can't answer questions 2 and 3.

I purchased through Dave Avilles at www.BMWDavid.com 202-262-2900. He'll can certainly answer those questions for you.

1. M3 is under dealer's allocation so you better start now.
2. My SA suggested to take the order and apply for the BMWFS to avail the incentives. You have 60 days to take delivery after the 28th of February. That will bring the delivery date on the later part of April. For the ED, it means the signing and finalization of the ED order. It also means that the lease/finance already started that day. In my case, it will me a couple of weeks early since my scheduled ED is on the 24th of May.
If there is another better incentives after February, then we will use the latter one and will push the signing a week before my ED date.
3. Depend on number 2 and/or your dealer. Talk to them and I am sure they are open and would like to serve you. A lot of them do but some are .

Awesome, thanks a bunch. I'm working with David Aviles, who has been incredibly on-point. I just hate to bug him without trying the forums first. I'm sure he's a busy guy.

While I'm here, what does it mean that the M3 is "under dealer's allocation"?

Most cars available from the European Delivery program do not come out of the dealer's allocation from BMW, meaning it's essentially a "free sale" to them, making those dealers who know a lot/ do a lot of ED deals more willing to cut you a good deal. The M3s do come out of the dealer's allotment of cars, making most way less inclined to cut you a deal. If a dealership is allocated 50 M3s, all of which they assume they will be able to sell for a much higher profit margin, they understnadably don't want to let one of these cars go to someone at a lower margin.

You're in good hands with David Aviles, from what I hear.

As a general statement, being an east coast guy, you're limited to a shorter time span for lease rate lock-ins than us west coast guys. One of the trade-offs to getting your car off the boat two weeks sooner.

Let us know how it turns out.

Clock is ticking

Guys if u want to do ED for an 2013 M3 all I can say is jump on it ASAP and get in touch with David Aviles. The change in allocation rules for M cars has made it extremely tough and with only a few more months of production left the clock is ticking.

Do not do ED without checking with David I'm here writing because I still can't believe what a great deal I got and I want everybody to get the same and from David. My car is now at the port waiting customs clearance!! Good Luck!!!

If anyone is worried about the beerfest don't forget the Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest from 20 April to 12 May! Same thing as Oktoberfest just in Stuttgart. Still get the carnival, liters of beer, and of course women in dirndls

Went in Saturday to sign an ED lease and the SA said the $1500 USAA deal is for purchase only. He said USAA only gives $500 for leases. Then he said ED leases don't allow the typical .00130 money factor. He said that's for US delivery leases only and that ED leases use .00185. Then he added $1298 of fees (no tax) for acquisition, etc. Does any of this sound accurate?
Now I'm considering just financing through BMW Select since I'd buy the lease at the end anyway and the lease deal is turning sour.

sounds right in terms of USAA rebates, the MF does increase for ED since BMW pays second lease payment for you, but I think it is less than .0055 increase. Hope that helps!

I ordered from David and my ED delivery date is 6/28. The date is already locked in and I already received my production number from David.

MF is slightly higher for ED but I suspect that is because BMW pays your 2nd payment while the car is transit stateside. You can, which I did on my e93 m3 ED was to pay a security deposit which is refundable at the end of your lease to buy down my money factor. I forgot exactly how much it lowered the rate but I remember it equaled over $35/month on the lease which = over a 10% "return" on the amount I had to post for the security deposit.
