TRACK DAYS & ROAD TRIPS 2012 - Toronto Area

Starting to do some planning for 2012 and was wondering if anybody knows what trackday dates are planned for the upcoming season?

I would like to hit CMP at least twice this year as I love the track and the drive up there.. but they don't seem to have any 2012 dates listed as of yet.
http://www.calabogiemotorsports.com/cmp-lapping

Anybody know the Mosport & DDT dates for 2012?

Also I'm open to organizing some road trips if there is interest. Calabogie is always a great destination but usually requires an overnight stay. Pennsylvania has amazing roads but usually requires at least 3 days to get there, have some fun there, and get back. I'm also open to organizing some single-day trips if there is enough interest. You do not have to have an M3 to join but should enjoy spirited (but safe) driving on public roads. Let me know your interest level and perhaps PM me your contact info if you are so I can build a list of interested individuals. Also let me know if you prefer weekday or weekend trips?

Mike

Mosport GP

Tuesday May 22 Mosport GP $450 + HST $50 + HST for instruction

Monday September 24 Mosport GP $450 + HST $50 + HST for instruction

Our pricing is tentative at this point.

Other Dates of interest(will be attending as a group to instruct)

June 25 & 26 Watkins Glen (full course)Phoenix CMR

July 30 & 31 Watkins Glen (full course) Phoenix CMR

Book with Joe directly at http://www.phoenixcmr.com/

There will be more to come.We are going to plan on Calabogie at least twice and probally a Tremblant date.

Is there an interest in doing a Shannonville date as Mosport is very hard to get dates this year.

Awesome! I'll be coming to a few of the Mosport days, and i'd like to give Watkins Glen a try.

I'm definitely down for Calabogie, and would love to give Tremblant a try.

I'm interested in trying Shannonville. Of course going to do as much of the rest as I can too!

Is there a chance of a April or early May day on DDT? I like to start the season with DDT to get back the feel for the car and confidence in a comfortable setting DDT provides.

The 1st time we went down @ the Seneca Lodge which was for a lack of a better word was pretty "Rustic".

The 2nd time we went down we stayed at the Harbour Hotel which was great and is the place that most of us will be staying next time.We get a special rate there as part of the Phoenix CMR group.great bar with a happy hour from 5-7pm!

Shannonville is just ok, but it's a far drive. Just over 2 hours, not worth it IMO.

We got offered some earlier dates but we turned them down as they were mid week dates which have done very poor attendance wise for us in the past.Stay tuned as we are working on getting more dates.
