Fuel Pump Malfunction (Again?)

Just back from open track session and first full-on lap get "Fuel Pump malfunction" warning see your dealer, blah, blah, blah.

Little history- Car is daily driver, fine on the street, can blast through the gears on an on-ramp with no issues. Was at Barber Motorsports Park last spring and get Fuel pump malfunction notice after a couple of laps. Dealer confirms pump is bad, but didn't have it in stock. /Drove home fine, ordered pump module as well as the fuel pump controller and replaced it last summer. Ran two or three more driving events last year, no problem. Ran 3 day VIR event in March, no problem.

Then today, first lap after warm up get fuel pump malfunction warning. Come in, turn off motor, start up go back out, same issue. I have "reduced engine power" with redline at 7,000 rpm. I figure, "I really doubt it's the fuel pump, it's practically new" so I run a 30-40 minute session at reduced power and it runs okay, just now I'm driving a momentum car.

Then come in let car cool off for 15-20 and go back out. Runs great, full power for perhaps 15 minutes then the "fuel pump malfunction" warning comes back on with reduced redline. Finish session and call it a day. Drive home fine, uneventful except now I have SES warning light. Under notifications there's nothing. I haven't pulled the codes yet but will tomorrow.

1) Anyone seen this before? Could it really be the replacement pump (OEM BMW) is really bad this soon?
2) Could I have a faulty fuel pressure sensor? Where is that thing located? Presumably that would flip a code if it's bad, we'll see.
3) What else might it be? I can't really test it on the street as it's really something that comes on with prolonged high-load and large throttle openings, i.e. track use and not the street. Appreciate your ideas.

What about your fuel filter?

I think that's all part of the fuel pump module which has the filter, pump and fuel level gauge all integrated into one cannister.

Codes that I pulled this AM. Looks like it's a fuel pressure or fuel pressure sensor problem.
Fuel pressure 4.5 Bar (don't know is that in spec)
Code 2722- "not present- DME: Fuel pressure sensor signal
Code 2786- Fuel pressure to mechanical regulator plausibility
Then a couple with no explanation: 27CE and 27C1

low pressure fuel sensor behind the intake box is sorta common to go bad

Just replaced the low pressure sensor. Might be the easiest S65 repair there is, takes no time at all to replace.
OEM BMW sensor now comes from China, hopefully their quality control is decent.

Will do, unfortunately, I won't know until my next track day. Next one scheduled for Labor day weekend, but will try to squeeze a one day event in somewhere to make sure it's all good before I attend a 3 day event.
