What are you looking for? Depending on your needs I always recommend a Honda CR-V, a pickup truck, or a Subaru wagon. All can be had for about $5-10k used. You can also buy a set of winter wheels for the days when you're itching to drive the 135 in some light snow.

Looking for a 2005 330XI, manual, sport package, black interior with silver trim. Already have a set of Hakka R2 on OE rims from the 1er to go on. Not looking for newer because HPFP and electric water pumps.

May have found one for $4k. Love the fact it will still have 2 years of corrosion warranty left.

Nice, although I'd still prefer something with a little more road clearance for New England and Ontario winters. Maybe you can install a couple 20mm spring pads on that thing

Nah, the 1er was great, just not enough traction for my liking leaving a light. Tired of getting a tan from the traction control light.
