RIP M3 Driver. Its always sad when we see these things specially when we own the same car. Makes you feel closer to the accident.

I don't believe the comments on e9x board were out of line. This guy does appear to have been driving irresponsibly. The more people who make clear what can happen as a result of poor decisions, the better off we will all be.

Agreed. And for that matter I think a sedan would have fared better, but I don't know that the driver would have lived anyway. Sideways into a tree has killed several people in full-on rally cars with serious cages. Cars just can't protect you very much from that.

This is an RS6 crash that the driver (very luckily) walked away from. You are looking at one car.
Sometimes you're lucky, and sometimes you're not. Make good decisions.

My thoughts;
- OMG - The driver must’ve been driving really fast (>100mph) - RIP - How long will these pictures keep me from speeding? A day? - Hope it was death on impact (faster) - On a lighter note (seeing it’s still Monday) -no disrespect intended- would that make an M3 become M1.5

let us just hope he is not.. although the chances are very unlikely. Zcp front spliter ..trunk spolier black center cap. with laser shifter.. this guy might as well just be a memeber of the forum. Really sad to see this kind of accidents happened.

Not necessarily. That car is cut right behind the driver's seat. The impact may have destroyed the belt mounts as well. The B-pillar is missing along with the belt, I'm guessing.

I visit my cousin up in wellington a lot. There's always serious accidents around there due to few traffic lights and long and wide lanes. I wish Miami was like that. But anyways, RIP to the driver. Let's keep it on the track, no need to loose anyone else!
