Hello,
How is the power button tuned? It really does feel like it is faster with the power button pressed which I do not prefer for the track. Stg II. Thanks, |

Off is still off, Power on is smoother and far less jerky than stock and therefore has become my default setting on startup (you may like this one for track), Power Sport Plus is a little jerky but smoother than stock while being aggressive.

Anyone have experience with the servotronic tuning with an underdrive pulley and 275 front tires? I’m wondering if it gives more assistance at low 0-5mph speed for parking lots and then less assistance than stock once you get moving?

I have the servo option and 265’s front still stock pulleys but might as well not have power steering lol it’s hard at low speeds and harder at high speeds but I love it

Gooner5643 I have activated the servotronic option and I have mounted the MS underdrive pulley kit, at the moment I have not noticed anything strange but if perhaps to my taste too hard. By the way, in front I have 245 stock measurements.
These days Alex sent me the tune with Burble option, tomorrow I will install it and I want to do tests. In theory going to high rpm and releasing gas, you should hear the burble

I'll see if I can get one this weekend.

I have MS pulleys and Servo option, steering is definitely heavy but no issues at all at low speeds. It retains the oem "heavy" BMW M feel we all know and love. I'm on stock size font tires though (245's)

Anyone perform this flash via a Mac? Are we supposed to start by downloading the VM ware from the USB drive included with the cables, followed by the actual file? Or was the VM included for remote flashes?
Can the flash even be completed on a Mac or is it Windows only? Appreciate insight.

Installation guide will be in the zip folder, you need Windows Laptop, you can get as many MAP files you want but you have to be patient. I don't know what the last one means.

Have a question about gas mileage, I'm on stage one probably my 3rd or 4th tank decided to see how many miles I could get out of it driving like a grandma and it looks like I'll barely hit 250-275 miles. I read somewhere that people's gas mileage got better?

My car is an all stock 2008 M3 manual with original plugs and has 46k miles. The mileage jumped from 15 to 17 without exaggeration after the 93 octane stage 1 tune. It is also smoother and more powerful. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't experience it myself. BMW must have left stuff on the table to meet fuel/emissions requirements for certification.

E tune= Tune via email Thanks for the response. I guess im new to the bmw tune scene. I use to have a big turbo sti and the tunes had to be very precise or it would throw off the A/F or have pretty bad detonation. You could buy a flashing device like a COBB accessport and it would have generic tunes that were not optimized for ones car but rather a safer tune. These were considered OTS. With the COBB accessport, you could also load custom maps via etuners who would take your 4th gear wot logged pulls and optimize areas like adding or removing fuel. this was done via email. It seems like this m3 is much better at adapting to aftermarket parts so I'm going to assume these are generic base maps custom created by Alex. I bought it last night btw! |
