Folding wing mirrors

I have 2013 e92 M3 with auto dimming rear view, auto dipping side mirror, power adjust side mirrors but no button on driver door to fold the side mirrors. I tried coding with Carly in FRM and CAS modules but won't fold when pressing key fob to close doors. Carly support says to activate folding it should have LIN-bus installed.

How do I check whether my car has LIN-bus installed or not in the side mirror without necessarily opening the whole assembly?
Appreciate any help on this.

My understanding is that if you don't have the button to fold mirrors on the driver side, you don't have the power folding mirror option. This would mean you lack the hardware (electric motors) to code in the auto folding function.

It sounds like you don't have power folding side mirrors. AFAIK they weren't standard. Plug the last seven of your VIN into one of the online decoders and you can tell pretty quickly.

Mine, for example, has a line item for them:

S313A AUSSENSPIEGELPAKET Fold-in outside mirror

Thanks, guys. So I guess, I will have to buy a pair of new/used m3 side mirror assemblies with power folding feature?
