Its better to know and be afraid and ride carefully than not see, not know, not be afraid, and kill yourself (and others) wrecklessly.

Agreed, seeing a person torn apart is enough for me to go the speed limit on a bike.

In the first accident, if he didn't have such a helmet, at least we would have died with his boots on. But that's just my opinion on brain buckets (eases the cleanup after the accident.) Even at my (somewhat) reasonable rate of 70MPH, I still wouldn't expect there to be much left, helmet or not.

fuck. well. i just threw out the idea of getting a BMW K 1200R. i was gonna get it. but. now, after this? never. not ever in my fucking life.

BUT: think of it like this: if you were in ur car, and slammed into a 18whlr, you think you would honestly be alive? (be it bmw or not). Just another reminder.

fucking jesus crhist. my mom always said: a bike is just an unfinished car. RIP my man, maybe the after life will have some sort of compensation for what you had to suffer. i dont pray. ever. but tonight, ill take a couple moments for u. (if only i knew his name...)

This shouldnt discourage you from getting a bike, this should only remind you that need to be careful.

It is said that when a biker crashes and his boots came of, he definitly died. For some reason, I dont know why. Same with the people who jump out of buildings. The land with no shoes, and they dies as well. It is not funny and scary. I wanna have my shoes real tight.

dumbass...I've seen so many of those crotchrockets darting in and out of traffic like maniacs. This is what happens. I've worked my share of crotchrocket accidents. I love riding motorcycles, and even with careful and respectful driving, you're 37 more times as likely to get in an accident then you are in a car. It's so dangerous anyway, to drive so irresponsibly shows lack of respect and maturity.
I feel sorry for his family.

37 times more likely to get into an accident on a bike compared to a car? where did you pull this statistic out of?
