A little video of my car with stock ZCP.The only mods on my car are a Stopteck 380/355 BBK and the BMW performance exhaust.

I was on the fence and decided not to get it BUT I kind of regret it, especially since its exclusion was not motived by budget issues. While I'll never know how much "performance enhancement" I may have enjoyed, I do know that a part of me will miss not having the 359M wheels. For some reason, I wasn't that crazy about their aesthetics at first but then they started to grow on me. By the time I decided that I would like to amend my order it was too late - my car had just entered the que for production. I saw someone take delivery on a white ZCP M3 at the Welt a couple weeks back in November (perchance was it any of you?!?!?) and it was just so stunning to look at...and I'm sure equally stunning to drive. If you are on the fence about it and it doesn't break the bank, go for it.

On a daily driver/practical use note, I've heard some of the guys on here mention that the EDC Comfort settings have been of service when they drive with their wife/kids. I remember someone on here saying that when his wife was pregnant, she could only ride in his car and not get nauseous if he had the EDC on Comfort setting. Personally I wasn't able to feel any difference among the EDC settings - maybe they are more perceptible at the track?

Here we go again...........

I disagree. I test drove a 08' with EDC and 18's and a 11' with ZCP. I much preferred the 08'. The ZCP was a much harsher ride to me.

I purchased a 12' with EDC and 220m's which is perfect for me.

Bottomline is if you don't have ZCP you drive a "civic."

EDC=1000
ZCP=2500

1500 for 359 wheels and a drop? No brainer, unless you want a very plush ride in which you want EDC and 18s

I think the 18's probally contributed more to the ride improvement than the difference in suspensions.

You can certanly notice the difference between the comfort & sport setting.I am not sure if most people would notice the difference between confort & normal.

I disagree I think zcp is a waste of money I got an 11 and got the upgraded 19s no edm. I track all the time and have tracked a zcp m3. Noticed nothing but a harsher ride... If they had included the performance exhaust I would done it in a heart beat. Plus IMHO I think the upgraded 19s give it a very classic m3 look which I love. But just my opinion. But in the it's up to you... Also the upgraded 19s are lighter then the zcp wheels.

True... Comfort to Sport is noticeable.

Amazing how polarizing the responses are here. You'd swear it was a MT vs DCT thread.

Just like the e46M3 with ZCP it will be more desirable and new up and coming buyers will gravitate to it on the used market.

Last bit of info the upgraded 19s will be discontinued after the the current m3 stops production.

Honestly I couldn't feel much difference - but I only got to try it out for ~15-20 mins while doing a test drive on back roads. The comfort setting did feel softer but still much stiffer (a good thing) than what I associate with comfort luxury sedan such as Lexus ES. What was perceptible to me right off the bat was that the ride is more comfortable than the e46 M3.

........there are no upgraded 19's. The 359's with ZCP would be the upgrade. OP as others have stated, if you like the wheels it's a no brainer......Phil

Yes, I've had an 09 and now an 11 with ZCP. I much prefer the ZCP.

Ok ......you upgraded to the 19's from the standard 18's........got it. Yes I know it's semantics but there's a difference. Back on topic for OP's sake......get the ZCP................Phil

From the reviews I've read, doesn't seem like there is much if any perceptible difference... unless perhaps you are a skilled driver, track your car, etc.

I just got it for the wheels. (I love, love how they look.)

Since the changes to the regular M3 are quite minor, I think it's funny when people think their car is a whole new different thing because they have ZCP.

I don't know if I think its a whole new different thing, but it completely changes the look of the car, and it was the sole reason I got a new one. I miss my old one though for some reason...Oh well.
