Supersprint race vs F1
Does anyone have either of these and can give any input on the main difference in tone ? There's a fairly decent difference in price between the two, the F1 being considerably more expensive.
I have narrowed down my exhaust choice down to SS or eisenmenn based of YouTube videos. Any input would be appreciated. Cheers! |

The F1 has chambers to reduce drone (what I was told). The SS does not, and drones . I don't have personal experience with the F1, but I sold my SS Race due to drone.

I have the SuperSprint Race with an RPI Xpipe with no cats or resonators.
There is drone at 2000 RPM. The way I solved this was by driving above 2000 RPM. It sounds incredible and its definitely worth it, particularly after its broken in.

Yes. Stock midpipe on E90. I don't think I have drone. Good deep growl on startup without being boomy, and a bit of an exotic tone at high rpm. On track when things are hot I get some crackles on downshifts.
