Garage List
Bid to $76k

This seemed to be the most pristine low mileage perfect spec DCT example to hit the market.

perfect spec is probably based on opinion.

Not as desirable to me in that color with those options.

I guess this also means that a DCT probably won't go for as much as a similar 6MT.

That's still a strong bid but not sure if you guys have seen frozen white in person but it's by far the worst of the frozen colors in my opinion.

Seems like all the money. I think the Frozen Blue car (6MT) sold for 84k.
The delta between these particular examples is definitely the extra pedal.

$76k seems like a strong number. Market speaks.

Will be hard to sell for more than that now. VIN stays on BaT forever. Easily searchable.

Everyone thinks their M3s are now $100k cars...

I don't think Frozen examples are particularly desirable. Hard to read into this listing much.

That's $79,800 for the buyer. It had to be close to the reserve, so if I was selling it, I would have lowered the reserve near the end to unload it. Now you're left with it and have to figure out how to get anywhere close to these values again, how to market it, entertain a truck load of low ball offers, endless hassle, etc.

They seem to list a little higher than a comparable non frozen and they did cost more new. The production numbers of course are lower as well. I personally like the lighter frozens like this white and particularly the frozen silver 1 of 40 example.

I think some people looked into the recent EAG transaction hoping that is the new market. That involved an expensive trade-in so the numbers can be played with.

I actually saw frozen white in person a few times and I think it looks awesome. Looks like it will be hard to maintain though…
