G-POWER SK2, from ordering to review.....

Yes, i did it. This morning i sent a wire transfer to gpower in germany for a brand new sk2 kit.I chose gpower for a few reasons: i like the big air to air intercooler that allows me to run water-meth injection to keep things cooler, i also chose it because of the ASA supercharger, belived to be the best and offering an amaizing torque curve and reliability, also gpower has been working with BMW for 35 years, and in Europe they are king. After all the car is from germany, so i guess they know their stuff. Another reason is their installation instructions, since i be installing it myself with the assistance of my trusted mechanic, these instructions are very detailed.. When i was shopping around for my supercharger i noticed almost no threads on g-power, so i decided to write my full experience for other people to see. I will update this with every step, from delivery to unboxing to install to dyno session.......They told me i would get delivery in 4 weeks.

Very cool, more feedback on the g power kit is certainly welcome

You're going to want solid subframe bushings to help put that power down as well

UPDATE;
After many delays it's finally coming. When I sent the money almost 2 months ago I was told it would have shipped in 3 weeks max, well, it took 2 months. That said they were missing the intercooler so had to wait on the manufacturer to restock them. UPS is delivering it on Monday morning, I got an email saying I have to pay 186 dollars for government fees........UNBOXING COMING SOON...

That is good ,,but why did not you go with SK2 610HP,,why did you go with 580 kit
Is it about the price difference?

Really waiting for your Dyno # in this kit,, espically RWHP.
I might go for sk2 610 in September.
But will see what your kit will make comparing to ESS and VF engineering kit and active kits also.

Thank you.

The 888r are amazing, once warmed up the grip is like nothing before. Even 1st grips all the way....
About the SK2 kit when I ordered mine I didn't see the 610 option, so I got the 580, but they told me it's really 600 once it's decatted, which I am. I'm also gonna add a small spray of water meth mix to keep things Kool. After installation will go on the Dyno. Next weekend if everything goes as planned I start installation, with pics update....I'm very excited, it took me over a year to make this decision....let's see if it was worth it...

I am really waiting for this setup,,and the most important to me is the HP gain numbers in both crank & rwhp.

Thank you.
