Both of those would be too tall to run from what I have read.

Here's my car with Hankook V12s 255/35 & 285/35 on 19x9.5 & 19x11 wheels but I'm using 7.5mm spacers all around to clear my calipers. To me, this is meaty and completely flush. If you aren't gonna spacers, your could get away with a wider setup for sure.

I know you like the meaty look but you have almost a 27" rear tire, some .7" larger than what was on there OEM. This has got to be throwing off your DSC. The front 255 tire is 26" or .4" larger but now you have a 1" difference between front and rear diameter.

Really only way to get an actual meaty look on this car, is 18's. Just got to run to thin of a sidewall with 19s-20s

Ehhh Id classify most of these as meaty, a 295 in the rear is pretty wide, I personally like wider and less sidewall because I like to ride lower than most.

Thats wide, not meaty. I had a 20inch 315 rear, my 18 inch 315 rear is by far more meaty of a tire. Thin sidewall just ruins the look, not to mention kills ride/handling quality.
For example here is my car with two different sets, both 315 series in width. But the 18 with the more meaty sidewall makes all the difference.

Car looks great, but I do not see any noticeable differences at least in those pictures. Trying to run 20s is where you run into ride quality problems, I think 19s are the best size for these cars personally. I daily mine with the 245/35 and 275/35 setup for about 6 months and didn't notice any ride or handling quality difference, granted I am running Clubsports. All these things are just personal preference at the end of the day.

Sidewall is .70 inches taller on the 18s, very noticable in person. Also have the best selection of tires in 18's, which was huge bonus

Agreed, meatiest look is with 18s. For whats its worth, HK tires have run wide in my experience.

I'm on a beefier tire the michelin pss on the same size wheels you listed at 295 in the rear and 275 in the front. My current alignment is within OEM specs and at my current lowering I have no rubbing in the rear or front.

I don't remember my exact offsets but I got my wheels from eas and went with their recommendations for the m3.
Can anyone confirm for me these are VFF-101's? I'm looking to get a set and like how concave these are in the rear, but every other pic i find of them the face of the wheel is much flatter? From what ive found the widest lowest offset option 19x10.5 et25 which im assuming these are

D1ESEL OMG yes this is great! I see Aktavate found your wheel/tire specs. I'm going to run 513M wheels and ordered these exact tire specs yesterday. Glad to get a preview of how that would look but please, what suspension are you on? I did some sleuthing on your past posts but you're pretty active here. KW HAS or something else?
