Resetting DCT adaptations with fox well scanner
I just purchased the foxwell scanner two months back when I had a bad wheel sensor and used it to read the wheel speed.
So after getting the alpine tune, I still had a slight buck although much better than before from a standstill. I decided to reset the clutch and transmission using the scanner as it has this feature and its pretty simple. If anyone has one, you go under service-transmission-clutch adaptation and then transmission adaptation. The scanner will exercise all the solenoids and valves and modulate the clutch, you'll hear and feel all sorts of noises, clunks and jerks during the 90 second calibration period. But afterwards, I was very impressed as the shifting improved even further and the car just shifts better....just thought id pass along as the foxwell supports this function. |

Apologies for bringing this back but I posted about my Foxwell NT530 failing to do the adaptations. Since you've completed it successfully with positive results, would it be possible to offer some assistance?
