We Dyno tuned the car yesterday. It sounds glorious and makes good power! How much power? I won't tell but enough to make her quite fast!

The latest:
There was another race team that needed a Aim dash so I was able to sell them mine and buy the Aim MXG. Very nice! The original tuner was a nice guy but very difficult to schedule with. I was able to source another highly respected and experienced tuner. Flew him out from the east coast and scheduled 2 days on the dyno. He was able to trouble shoot a few items and the results were pleasing. At that point it was time to get her prepped for the first test. We were able to find a large skid pad (I'll post a video if i can). It was damp and spinning the tires in 2, 3 and 4th. Still fun! She is just music to the ears! Next was a real track day. The set up was basically in "safe" mode considering we changed so much and have the new Tilton pedal box. Even then and driven conservatively (coasting, etc..) she was 2 seconds faster than the old engine! Bought some fiberglass doors. Last week it went to the body shop to install the flossman widebody GTR kit. We should get it back this week. We ordered multiple sets of Forgeline wheels this week. We currently have a designer working on the livery. Last edited by PrimeBMW; 12-07-2017 at 01:05 PM.. |
