Interesting, EV's are getting better but the good ones are ridiculous money.

Looks nice, but $250k is a lot of money, and all of these EV's are plenty fast already. Give me whatever model costs half as much and already has plenty of range for daily driving.

Also wish all these damn companies would put an actual sunroof with a shade on their cars, not a flat glass roof with no shade. All the reviews for the Lucid say the car gets extremely hot inside.

Agree that 250k for a startup brand electric sedan is a difficult proposition. This is Bentley/RR-level pricing but without the brand cachet and interior opulence.

For comparison, the 750 hp AMG EQS starts at 150k.

Or the build quality. From what I've seen its better than Tesla, but not quite German level with still some inconsistencies. I'd also still be weary of a new brand and its lack of service and parts. For me BMW, Audi, and MB have three different locations all within 15-30 minutes from my house. Lucid requires a 1.5 hour drive over to Virginia to a mall which doesn't exactly leave me impressed.

Actually love the look of the Lucid, but who in hell can afford $250k for an electric vehicle?? And as stein_325i stated, just to get service and parts he would have to drive 1.5 hours to the nearest dealer. Personally, I think the EV push is happening way to quickly.

Now they need to actually go and get some orders for those and then fulfill them, and for their other models too.... Should have sold off my shares when during the "hype" phase. Sick of waiting to get my money back, along with the vast majority of my portfolio....
