Good morning, I think I got back to everyone with more pictures, questions etc. I took some more pictures last night I'll get posted when I get a chance if I can figure out how to keep them from flipping upside down. Feel free to reach out before then if you want more pictures. Thank you for your interest.

I have quite close to asking price in it and these cars aren't depreciating. I have priced it fairly and in line with the current market for individual cars. Please move along if you have no interest or valuable input.

I don't appreciate the insinuation that I was not up front, it was shipped in an enclosed trailer halfway across the US + taxes etc. which is very close to my asking price as I said. I have priced it fairly and I am not asking an absurd number for how special of a car it is when individual cars of all types and miles are setting new highs on BAT every day.

I have received a ton of positive interest and feedback and look forward to finding a new owner to enjoy it as much as I have. Have a great evening everyone.

Who said anything about credit? Im asking a very fair price for a super rare car and the car speaks for itself. As I said before please move along.

looks like it sold for low to mid 30s a couple months ago.

asking price is fine, people understand the market is moving. just be upfront about it when asked, especially since its a quick flip (and guys like me will have questions).
He was upfront as possible about it when you asked. There are tons of us that frequent the classifieds and will remember the car, so your question is clearly rhetorical at best and comes across as snarky.

By "guys like me" do you mean people that troll others listings to no benefit of their own? Car is well priced and if he breaks even - or dare i say - even make some $$, good for him. Im guessing every time you sell a car you list what you bought the car for and ignore things like taxes/shipping/maintenance to ensure you lose money as its only fair for the buyer right?

Still available at the moment, adding a few more pictures to show the color, it's deep and dark at night and vibrant metallic with blue and multicolor flecks in the day. Price is negotiable within reason.

As a side note I figured out the picture thing, if it helps another member, you just need to slightly resize the image and then they won't be turned sideways.

Have a great weekend everyone, dm me if interested.

Morning 94jedi, hope you are doing well. No, different person. Let me know if anyone has any additional questions or picture requests.

Edit: disregard the above, I finally put 2 and 2 together, the user he referenced was local and looking for an e92 and had pmd me earlier.

I bought your E90 on 3/11 and you told me you were selling it because it was too small for your kids, but then got an E92M 3 days later? In hindsight that does feel like you weren't being upfront previously.

I certainly can't comment on this particular car, but would recommend any prospective buyers research shops in the area for the PPI. Import Motor Works did mine and they missed several obvious repairs which will add up to the thousands even with me doing the work myself (busted motor mount, leaking oil pan gasket, rear main seal, coolant leak, broken TPMS radio, rusted and modified muffler) and didn't even seem to scan for codes (which would've shown the broken TPMS radio). Things like blatant oil leaks should've been obvious just from removing the belly cover. The car was also clearly modified and returned to stock at some point, but I obviously don't know which of the previous owners under-took that process.

So if Import Motor Works PPI was incompetent it's the seller's fault? Sounds like this comment belongs on IMW's Yelp reviews on not OP's FS thread.

The point regardless of the PPI is the reason for sale that was disclosed did not seem to be honest if the seller was selling an E90 for a bigger car rather than just saying I'm getting an M3.

There were other parts of the transaction where things changed over time. The exhaust issue went from stock, to the flap mod, to the cans being cut open but it is fine, to - the entire internal piping was rusted out and rattling around inside of the can.

The seller also downplayed an evap leak saying it was dripping but no odor. The car smelled like wet dog as soon as I stepped inside but by that point I was 500 miles away with a check in my hand there was no turning back.

The oil was changed right before the car was sold - which makes me struggle to understand how a substantial oil leak could have been missed.

It's fine for people to flip cars. Whether or not the sellers representation of certain parts of the vehicle was ignorance or malice I can't say. But it's my money pit now not his. Caveat emptor.

This thread is hilarious. I don't know why I even dignify some of these posts with responses but glad some members are realistic normal people, it is appreciated. Not sure why it's relevant but I purchased a family suv after the 335 which I still have. This m3 isn't my primary or even secondary car it was my first really fun car after I had twins and I'm ready to move back to a Porsche. If it doesn't sell that's fine it will sit in the garage on the tender and maybe get driven sometimes.

The hilarious thing is I literally paid out of pocket for an oil change at the time of the ppi by the same shop so it would be in as good of shape as possible for the new owner. I don't know many other sellers that would do that.

But I digress....serious buyers please reach out via dm. Feel free to go over the car with a fine tooth comb, inspection camera etc. and feel free to ask any questions. I plan to post this on the national car sites soon but wanted to give forum members a chance first.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Think he’s just saying buyer beware as the seller seems a bit opaque.
No, I know what he was attempting to do. I can read between the lines.

I'm holding my comments in respect to OP's post and not to derail or any further.

It's become a very cynical crowd here over the past 10 years, but GLWS, it's a beautiful car!
