I went to see this today .. and all I can say is that it's rare for me to see an M3 that's as rough as this one is. It only has 39k miles on it but I've seen ones that look better with 120k on them:

- the paintwork is in a terrible state: lots of swirl marks, scratches and tiny dents
- the wheels . . wow: the previous owner must have had no idea how to park a car. One of them (right rear) shouldn't even be on a car
- TMPS is not working at all . . constant flashing warning light on the dash
- headlights . . look like someone took some steel wool to them, on multiple occasions
- rubber around windshield .. completely perished
- looks like there's some error code with the roof too - they couldn't get it to retract so were not able to take any photos with the top down. I got it to operate but its very noisy and the mechanism looks dirty and rusty
- the window tint is terrible . . one can't see out the back window at all

With an asking of $36k I'd expect this to be perfect: but its in terrible condition.

Dealer appears to know nothing about the car . . and doesn't seem to care about selling it or not selling it - they've had it 6 weeks and only got proper photos up in the last week.

Sales person asked me what I'd offer for it - I told her that if I didn't have to repair wheels, headlights, paintwork, window tint, TPMS, etc, I'd offer $32k for it . . her face lit up . . but then I told her I didn't want it because it looked like shit. She laughed and agreed .. and asked me if I'd considered a Mustang!!

Thanks for sharing. I'm in Kirkland too.

They've already dropped to $31k, looks like others have witnessed the same.

Wow, pictures are really deceiving because it looks great in through photos.

Keep in mind that it also took them at least 3 weeks before they got any 'professionally' taken photos up on the website - prior to that it was just 4 photos of the car parked in a back lot!!

I was really disappointed when I went to see it - really disappointed.

The thing I was most disappointed about was how the salesperson didn't really give a damn - she had no issues with any of the 'flaws', told me that their detailing department had done a fantastic job, and didn't offer up fixing anything if I was interested in buying the car. When I pointed out all the damage to the wheels her only comeback was "I guess the previous owner couldn't park".

FYI, I’ll be listing my M3 in the next couple weeks. I have an e92 M3 DCT competition package White with red interior (not extended). Mileage is at about 44,400 miles. Garage kept.

I called them this morning - they said they'd be happy to sell it at the listed price, but they are doing absolutely nothing to it to get it ready for sale. I'd guess it will be heading off to wholesale soon.

I'm not so sure about the best prices being gone. The used car inventory isn't going to be increasing anytime soon. People aren't buying new cars right now with the interest rates so high, which means more people are holding onto their vehicles which in turn contributes to the used car inventory shortage. I did a car value check on a few sites and i'm getting lit up with calls about buying my M3.

If people aren't buying cars (new or used) because they've convinced themselves a recession is coming, prices are going to fall.

These guys dropped the price to $29,708 . . and still couldn't get rid of it. So now they've put the price up $2k. I guess that makes sense as a sales strategy!!

Funny. I just sold my 2012 e93 with 70k miles to a dealer. I couldn't get much private party interest. They sold it within a few weeks, listed at 31k.
