Chuckwalla on march 9

Hi, if anyone is interested in going to run your car on a real race track, i will be going with my m3 zcp, its only 149 with the promo code through extreme speed track events. This will be my first time with them also. Should be lots of fun to see how good these cars really handle!!!

If this is your first track day, you might want to reconsider and sign up for the BMWCCA HPDE event at Buttonwillow later in March. You'll get a full time *qualified* instructor with you for whole event along with some classroom time. Best way to get started into this hobby in my opinion.

Regarding Extreme Speed, I haven't heard one good thing about that organizer. I have heard horror stories of getting dive bombed in turns and crowded tracks though.

Word to the wise - the reason Extreme Speed events are inexpensive is that they sell the crap out of their events. So, to anyone dreaming of a new PB (or even getting any clean laps), you are forewarned.

No, I just got back from Chuckwalla a couple of weeks ago. You'll have to report back with your experience. Maybe Extreme Speed has improved.

Since you are in SoCal, if you are up for a little friendly competition, you might want to participate in the Bimmer Challenge time trial series that runs about once a month at Speed Ventures events. We had our season opener at Chuckwalla already. Round 2 is 3/2 at Buttonwillow. Lots of prizes/contingencies and discounts for participants.

Just wait until the end of they day to run and the weeds will be cleared. The first few sessions are usually crazy with all of the "racers"

Not a bad deal $ wise.
