Shaker hood
Has anyone cut the hump out of their hood, to create a shaker hood?
I know it would be purely cosmetic, but it would show the beast a little better! Especially with a carbon fiber intake manifold (to match the roof, mirrors, spoiler). |

The hood bulge is the appeal for a lot of folks and it looks like it would be a nightmare in the rain.

This is the same guy who couldn’t tell if the smoke coming from his car was out of the exhaust or the tires from breaking traction. I think that sums it up.

I have an '06 Saleen with a super shaker directly attached to the S/C and there are dumps for the water. I've driven it through torrential downpours with zero issues (except for traction of course!). I was worried about the same thing until I got stuck in a massive rain storm coming home from San Diego to LA!
