Question Front tire wear - opinions needed

Apologies for the long post Turns out my research produced more questions than answers

I'm looking for opinions on the front tire wear and suggestions for next steps

Some background:

- Car is stock non-ZCP/non-EDC on 220 wheels
- Tires are Michelin PSS 245/275-35-19
- Front camber is at -1.6 with pins pulled
- Alignment was done just prior to the track day

- did two track days (weekend) at Mosport (8x 20-25 minute sessions total) in Advanced group
- was running 40psi hot initially, then dropped to 36 hot
- switched front left/right tires after day 1

Here's the wear on my fronts :

Questions:
1. Is this a normal wear? Notice the middle tread block is worn at an angle almost to the wear bar
2. Is shoulder discoloration (blueish tint) something I should be concerned about?
3. Any way to prevent such shoulder wear without camber plates?
4. How do you guys prolong the life of a tire? Is running "outside" side on the inside an option on track?
5. Would going with the square 18 setup (265 or 275/35) help with shoulder wear?

Choice of tire

I try to do 6-8 track days a year.

Tracks:
- mainly Mosport GP and DDT (being the closest track)
- Calabogie or Watkins Glen once a year

And, since I currently not looking at r-comps, my tire selection came down to
- Yoko AD08R (with stiffer sidewall)
- Bridgestone RE11/RE71
or
- BFG Rival S

Any other tire suggestions or recommendations?

Thanks!

What are you toe settings? Im guessing you're running too much toe in causing scrubbing, that paired with tire pressure you ran, caused the wear.

The shoulder wear with PSS's are normal given the limited neg camber. PSS's have a soft sidewall and tend to roll over under hard cornering. This could be a factor in your wear pattern as well.

Thanks Ham,

All wheels have 0.10 degree toe-in (positive), for the total of 0.20 degrees per axle
