Think of it as the nice colour of brown/red you have ever seen and then multiply it by ten. It is beautiful, but then so is Palladium Silver which is a beautiful shade of blue/grey.

One is cool and the other warm.

P.S.

Fox Red goes brilliantly with Jerez Black.

lmao I'm sure everyone thinks I should do it to see how it actually would look together, I'm not too fond of being a guinea pig though, so I don't know what to do...I called my CA today to find out if he has recieved a piece of FR leather as sample but he hasn't, drove up on a Montego Blue/Dark Brown BMW today and it looked good I know FR is much brighter but what made me think was that when I get my car you won't even be able to see my interior from the outside (maybe through the windshield) but definitely not from rear or sides...your going to have to open the door to see it....hhhhmmmmmmmmm

If you want exclusivity, that should help.
You can enjoy the inside of the car with the color you want and the same with the outside.

monsta - I say do it. The IB/Cinamon E46 M3 and IB/Indianapolis M6 look great. I am actually thinking of upgrading from speed cloth specifically for the IB/FR combo.

We aren't mad - we're visionaries. Seriously though, to me its simple. The color has brown undertones, and brown/blue look great together. Therefore its a go.

For me its IB no matter what. Most cars are black, grey, silver or white, and I like to stand out from the pack. Only interior color is still up in the air.

I see your point, ran up on a montego blue 335 with brown interior and it looked good, obviously montego isn't IB and FR will be brighter then that brown that I saw but you get my point, and yes FR is more of a brownish then a true RED. To confirm if its available when I called the 800# last night the operator to check if my build date had changed he told me that it could be config. w/ that combo...we'll see

Monsta,

As I've done about 40 times in the past two months, I've changed my decision and now think FR is the way to go. My dealer says that I've got exactly two weeks (from last Friday) to make my final decision. Right now, it's Space Gray, carbon trim, FR interior. The way I look at it, if it looks awful, it will be a $70k mistake and I'll just be sure to slit my wrists while sitting in the car. Hopefully, there will be enough blood in my body to completely cover the garish orange hue...

So (for now), I say doooo it. If it doesn't work out, I'll be sure to start a Fox Red Suicide Hotline to help others.

lmao, there is no doubt in my mind that FR is going to look great, but will it look great with IB is my dilemma...I have on order SS2/FR, but I love IB and want the FRedish interior even if its more brownish then a true RED...

Well. I'm placing the order Monday. I think I've decided to go with JB and rox red extended. I wanted to go white with bamboo so the carbon fiber roof would stand out, but these pics locked it in for me...

Wow, extended red leather has always seemed overkill to me but that bottom picture looks awesome. Now I'm unsure again.

Has anyone seen a good pic of the red fox with the Sparkling Graphite ext? Need an overall view of it.
